How it began...

Along with two business partners, Bill Fournier first brought the former Wm. M. Miller to Bay City in 1998. She was re-christened Princess Wenonah in a nod to the area’s  historic use of the name Wenonah. Within a few years, Bill and Elaine Fournier assumed sole ownership of Bay City Boat Lines. Later the Islander joined the family.

The Free History Tour Series began almost immediately and continues to this day, with local historians providing live guided tours while the Islander and Princess Wenonah ply the Saginaw River.

Bay City Boat Lines today...
